Description
The third attempt to get a matchboarding effect on a teak carriage, and finally it works! The basic technique:1) remove all beading from the carriage body, and use putty to get a smooth surface. Leave to set, then sand down and prime.
2) paint in various brown washes to create the teak effect. Leave to dry.
3) using a ballpoint pen and ruler add in the shadow lines where the planks of matchboard meet.
