This is an interesting shot because of all the elements in it. The trees are stripped of their bark. The atmosphere is foggy-ish, so I'm guessing this was an early morning shot. Oh may, if it was a morning shot then you must of took in that lovely morning dew at the time. Then your title says 'First light' so then it's a morning shot. I love the angle. I makes me wish I was sitting there on a blanket drawing/sleeping.

It reminds me of the World Between Worlds in C.S. Lewis's Magician's Nephew. All it needs are some ponds scattered around. ^.^ It feels very peaceful. I love this photo.
