Thank you! Oil paints, canvas, hogs-hair brushes for all the layers except the last (then I used sables)

I love this piece.... it kind of reminds me of a couple of pieces by Nathan ota...... I just gotta say I love how u mix in philosophy with ur masterpieces not too many people do that, and I read a couple of the comments below I gotta say I'm not surprised after all philosophy is based on beliefs concepts and attitudes....

Mmm... thinking. Thanks for the feedback, my friend. I think art should evoke a story, and one that words cannot explain... it should make your mind travel to another world (and maybe your mind DOES go somewhere else, beyond the physical plane).

Ethical reasoning, hmm? But there are multiple ethical views. But, really isn't the idea of right and wrong creations made by man? In essence,the idea of what is right and wrong only exists when man is there to specific it. So is there truly a right and wrong? If we were to look at this from nature, all these views would be invalid. There is only survival.

I have and I agree and disagree. I think the road to hell is paved with intentions that were seemingly good but not thoroughly felt out. We shoot from our egos... it's aggressive and often selfish.

Are we not animals? When we forget that, and put ourselves upon a pedestal, we consider our every action as noble. I think when we symbiotically merge into our more organic nature, we our more thoughtful and considerate for our environment/reality.
