wow ! being used to digital art, i must say that i like the "smouth" effect of this work (its the "oil painting" aspect i guess) Despite the grim background, it radiate warmth and gentleness. plus i like the general concept and all the details that make this picture a non-generic piece of art. Well done !

Love it. Makes me wonder about the story behind the figure (and make up my own, of course.)Β
Great job! I love how all the brightness in the painting is centred on whatever is quenching the thirst, in the bucket, the leaves and the grooves.Β

What story do you see?
Thank you!

Mostly questions: if the sky is dark and grey, does light ever shine through? Does the tree-person need what's in the bucket to survive because they can't get sunlight?Β
I'll definitely check out the rest of the series.

This is so beautiful! The painting, background and use of blur and light makes this a wonder to see. The symmetrical patern on the anthropomorphic wooden person is expertly done in perfect detail. The flames and glow look nearly realistic.
I would give this 10/10

is the tree female and expecting? the way its belly is glowing it makes me think it is giving its child nutrients.
