I hadn't drawn anything in a while and since I'd been catching up on Parks and Recreation over the last few weeks..I felt compelled to draw Ron F***ing Swanson.

I had two main goals with this, practice painting directly in color rather than in grayscale with color overlays. And trying to learn how to paint faster. I tried to work non-stop on this, constantly laying down color. Not stepping back too much and overthinking things or striving to overwork every detail so the final portrait was perfect but dead.

Wacom tablet, Photoshop CS4, about 6 hours or so.
