Bio:
Bobby Drake ran away from home at 14 after coming out as Trans and Gay to his parents. they were conservatives and disowned him after he came out. His pastor was a lot more accepting however, and adopted him giving him his last name an getting him gender-affirming care. Later, Xavier accepted Bobby into the school for mutants and recruited him. Bobby was mentored by Xavier while attending his school and joined the X-Men after being recommended by his Biology teacher, Hank McCoy. He joined the team, learning how to make a full body armor out of his ice, and started going by the code name "Ice-Man". He started a rivalry with one of the Brotherhood mutants/classmate of his, John Allerdyce, who called himself "Pyro". Bobby would become a constant member of the team and never leaving anyone behind. Ororo regularly referred to him as "The Coldest boy with the Warmest heart". He became good friends with many of the young members on the team including Jean, Scott, and even later, Kitty Pryde.
