Smiley -
Once bassist in the band Electric Ace, Smiley the Shinx is now a Rescuer in Tao Villiage with his partner, Melody. Smiley is a curious 'mon, and often charges into situations without foresight. He can be, however, wise beyond his age, when he cares to take a moment to think.

Melody -
A former Electric Ace fangirl, Melody the Castform ran off with the bassist, Smiley, to become a Rescuer in Tao Villiage. Melody is light-hearted and happy, and tries to keep the best interests of others at heart. However, she often fails, when greed overcomes her.
