I'm writing Mistress April in my art class currently (I was given person by my teacher) This was the scene I wrote today: A flashback of five year old April's first taste of her true power-when she made a light bulb explode on a group of boys who were bullying her. She severely injured the boys and managed to harm herself due to the broken glass (She got a face full and also crawled in it to get out of the room) Thus she's bloody
It's not an insane amount, so I'm not adding a mature content filter.
(Mistress will not be posted to DA straight away. It will be put into stash if anything first)

Oooo love the concept! I love the shading on April! And I appreciate how she ACTUALLY gets cuts because that's a thing people tend to leave out??
It reminds me a bit of a mix of Carrie and Mathilda for some reason? This picture tends to lean towards more the Carrie side, but it's probably more like Mathilda because I'm pretty sure April doesn't go crazy XD
She's a cute girl, can't wait to read the story <333

Carrie and Matilda were both inspirations for Mistress April actually X'D (I'm unsure yet about April's fate in the end, so the going crazy part is debatable)
Writing about the blood was a lot more entertaining than I expected too uhhh.
