This is the main character from another original series called "Vampire Academy" I might change the series title since I found a book and TV series with the same name Her name is Serena (I have two, and they are total opposites, plus, this one was around for nearly a year longer)

Serena was always a withdrawn, shy, child. She preferred the company of her very close friends to just a whole group of people she didn't know well. When she was thirteen years old, she was attacked by a rouge vampire in an alley, and was bitten. She was found by a boarding school for vampire children and was taken there before she could cause any harm. There, she got to know other vampire children her own age (Vampire children grow until they are around age 18-20 and then stay that way) She also learned the ranks: A full blood was a vampire child with two vampire parents, a half blood was a vampire with one human, one vampire parent, and a bitten one was a vampire who was originally human, but was bitten and thus became a vampire.

Stuff happens as she looks for the vampire who bit her and that's all I have Cliche story
