Extremely disturbing. Pure genius. I keep coming back to this masterpiece. What does that say about me?
Each time I come back to this screaming nightmare, I notice new details. The ultradark humour is powerful, and the colours (and lack of certain colours) have a dark, fever-dream quality.

Reminds me of my family get-togethers... Love the "Blu Hair", the Ex-wife comes to mind, never really enjoyed my sick family. I think she was only in it for the sex.

This piece is one of the paintings that change life, if seen as a child. Announce that the bloody dreams are on the way 
It's creepy and funny at the same time and good at both. Has disturbing colors and great expressions on the faces. I loved the 'clown lady' and the alien one. Made me think, which one is more 'alien'?

Not a black canvas, but a blank canvas if that's what you mean. A picture of the sketch is in my scraps, it's on paper. I don't sketch on the canvas. Glad you like it though.

Wow, you have such fine pics in your scraps, such an attention to detail, but DA has an error when trying to open the sketch in question.
What I noticed original is that this piece seemed to have allot of highlights drawn over dark, hence I thought you might paint from a quiet dark canvas and bring in the 'light'. I just wondered about your current general technique and approach, as your painting possess such a 'grasp' of highlights. Sorry about the long wind...
P.S. The new one you posted recently! (I only viewed today) is spectacular, captures the light I am lacking in my vision expression.

from the metal plate scare to the hole in the sock to the bark on the tree, this is a very well done portraiture of my neighbors.... love the intense expressions on the faces and the deep tones of the colors.
