Lots of practice. If you started painting in '09, like your post says, and you like it enough to stick with it and put in alot of time then you'll get the improvment your looking for. Keep at it!

Oh my god, those poor poor lambs. This is an incredible painting, apart from the fact that technique/colours/execution appear to be flawless and excellent and in a very unique style; the idea/concept is just incredible.
That, and how you can just see the madness and desperation and greed in his eyes and the creases of his forehead... This is just..amazing.

Wow, this remind me a lot one of the Chagal's painting, for the sheeps and the man with a big eye. I think your piece is like a continuation of that (yeah, I'm weird, let me be)
