This painting was designed for an album cover of a band whose music is very expansive and atmospheric with primal overtones. I wanted to come up with something that would compliment their music. So I attempted with this painting to create an atmospheric feel with a sense of distance and massiveness, like something looming but far off. It's not an effect I've played around with very much though. Thanks again for the compliment.
