In the novel by Wayland Drew Vermithrax is a hermaphrodite. Technicaly, with only two legs Vermithrax is a wyvern not a dragon.
Droc had the right number of limbs, four legs tow wings, but he had a siilly, snum face like a mammal.
The Ray Harryhausen one looked great but needed wings.
I hope Smaug will live up to expectations.
Any chance of Q the Winged Serpent?

Both excellent monsters, but I could only fit 3 dragons in the frame.
Perhaps I shall use those two dragons in a future strip though. Thanks for the idea.

Simple answer: In the pic I found of him he had a blue/grey looking back. (I was too lazy to pop the movie in for proper reference.) What color should he be?

Hmm... well the innerwebs aren't known for being 100% accurate all the time. Easy enough to fix though. Thanks for the correction.

Epic LOLs.
Funny, usually when I hear the words "drag racing", I get the mental image of Dr. Frank N. Furter running a marathon.

Hmm... perhaps a sequel with the cast from the Halloween strip is in order?

Wow, I didn't know the Dragonslayer dragon had a name, and nice job on recognizing him/her. I was sure it wasn't gonna read right. That'll teach me to think I can sneak one past you!

No human has ever snuk anything past a Memphirian! Perhaps when someday you evolve to our level you might be able to once or twice, but until then you can at least keep trying if only to amusing me. (just kidding you're awesome)
And yes Vermithrax is female, case in point: the hatchling dragons in the movie.

I figured because of the hatchlings Vermithrax was a female, but did that just in case you knew something I didn't... like her name for instance.
