well I think it really is a goose Swan Just sounds better, it was mating season and the whole spectacle was pretty terrifiying. I will have to try to find them but I might have what you are looking for as I always take several hundred pictures whenever I Photo birds. let me know if you can what your trying for and I will see if I have any that fit your needs

Ehh, I'm photomanipulating in photoshop for my sister, I have this shot of her in this beautiful white dress kneeling on the ground while draped over a stool, I'm editing her to look like an angel. I had wings that looked great but they weren't from a stock image... now I'm attempting to find a picture that won't get me sued xD

If you'd really be able to do that for me I could upload the photo I'm using and you could see if there's any wing pictures with a good angle. That would be a lifesaver. It's unbelievably hard to find workable, free stock pictures. Emphasis on free, because there's a website that has literally anything an artist could want... if they're willing to pay for it. Sigh.

Did you find the wings you needed ? If not let me see a copy of the ones you had used and I will try to find you some comparable ones!

Reeeeally? You would do that? Well wow. Um.

This is the picture I ended up with. [[link] The background and wings I need to replace because I want to be able to show this to more than my teacher. And I really screwed up on the hair, so that's going to get fixed too...

This is the picture I started with. You wouldn't think it's difficult but it IS. It REALLY REALLY IS. [[link] I might just end up using a different pose because the angle of the back on this one is just so impossible. The wings have to be in profile but not TOO MUCH profile and tilted up but not THAT MUCH up and... well. It's just a very picky photo. I must have gone through 10 possible wings before I found ones that looked right.

And this is the bird I ended up using. [[link] Just the one wing, I manipulated the shadows to use it as the far wing. And just the section, too. Part of the problem I found was that a full wing looks too thin on a human, not wide enough to support them, and when you enlargen it until it does it becomes insanely large. In this picture here, were I to use it, I'd use both wings as-is because the goose's head cuts it off right where it would start to get too long, so crop the other wing to match and it looks far better for some reason than using the entire wing.

And, er, sorry for the huge delay, I hardly ever check my DA messages. And totally don't feel obligated to do this for me, even if I do find a good picture I lost the USB my version of photoshop stays on D: Here I thought I was so clever managing to get it on a USB so I could take it with me everywhere and anywhere and then I didn't put it on a computer as well and went and LOST IT!!
