This is a remake/boot of The A's and B's, a Sonic AU me and my brother have been working on. I haven't submitted any art of mine recently, so here it is, some art I made recently. Been working on this AU for years and rebooted it just a few months ago, so I'm giving you the updated version of: (www.deviantart.com/jellycatjc1… )

Story/Plot:

The AU is set on Planet Mobius (of course) and we focus on a 16 year old speedy blue hedgehog called Sonic A. His origins are pretty complicated, so let's just say he was turned into a Sonic Legend at a young age, which is revolutionary considering no Sonic Legend has ever been transformed into one, they've always been born that way.

What's a Sonic Legend you ask? Well, it started back when the mobian species just began to thrive on their new planet. A blue hedgehog with the unimaginable power of speed was born and shocked the whole population. As others wanted this power, the villains came rolling in, and it became a Sonic Legends job to protect the defenceless from the evil. Generations go by, and the Sonic Legend Gene (SLG) is passed down and it manages to spread across some family trees.

Fast forward to the present, two Sonic Legends are in charge of protecting the mobian population from their villain, the evil Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Sonic A the main protagonist of the series and Sonic B, his latte-loving frenemy. They both began their own gangs, like their predecessors, and named them after the letter of the alphabet in their own names. Sonic B's father is Sonic Z, the Legend before him. The A's and B's were formed, and it's been a a while since then. Robotnik and his cronies have been defeated countless times, bazillions of badniks destroyed. Some of Sonic A's closest companions are:

Oreo Jackrabbit: Pyrokenetic hero, protector of the forest critters, Sonic A's older brother figure and oldest friend (age wise and friendship wise).
Miles "Tails A" Prower: Flying fox inventor, Sonic A's roommate, younger brother figure and sidekick.
Vanilla The Rabbit: Close friend of Oreo's, Chao guardian flyer, Sonic A's friend (although they aren't as close now as they were during childhood).
Knuckles A The Echidna: Master Emerald Guardian, treasure hunter, Sonic A's hot - headed friend.
Amy A: Flower enthusiast, Sonic A's secret admirer and friend, skilled in close combat.
Johnny Lightfoot and Porker Lewis: Sonic A's close friends and battle buddies, inseparable duo.
Twigs B: Oreo's best friend and sidekick, Sonic B's roommate, Comic book and weaponry enthusiast, skilled in far range combat.
Shadow and Silver: Sonic A's triplet brothers, separated at birth, reunited later on
