Thanks but I really suggest you try again.....I spent about 2 hours trying to get this shot right in shorts, in the freezing cold.....my problem was that I was trying to use natural light....the key to it was the flash (which I hate using, but its what made this photo work)......do you have your version up at all? on DA?

i ended up doing mine indoors.. kinda reversed. i didnt use this for my final work becouse i think its rather lacking in quality.. and yea it is on DA.. [link] ... like i said, this wasnt used as a final artwork..

It's really a great photo, and I think the overall quality is good, it actually reminds me of a photo I've seen in either Lenswork or Black & White magazine

The darkness suggests the uncertainty and also the fear of proceeding. Yet the gates or walls are the constraints on the people walking this path. Those who fear lag behind , unwilling to proceed beyond. Those who continue might follow a never ending path which is the symmetry of the two sides, but some will arrive at the light which can never be seen till arrival.
