nice concept,.. but i think the colours are a little bit too dark...
i mean black is good.. but you have mixed it with another dark satan colour... I dislike that../.

Well it's more than "eye candy" to me at least.

by collage, I mean like... A whole bunch of junk. In this case:
The guy, hearts, lightbulb, musical notes, wings, other crap.

I mean to say I'm better at creating visually pleasing abstract stuff than I am realistic things.

Sorry about that, I thought you were trying to insult me for some reason (although I had no idea what it would have meant).

I just think that the hearts, notes, lighbulb, and person seem to be pretty worn out elements in art. I think you should have chosen a different way to convey your idea, but this didn't come out all that bad.
