Simple render showing some of the JSRF characters
Models extracted from JSRF (owned SEGA and made by Smilebit)
Updated: fixed many issues with the textures, larger resolution(download for highres) and now a PNG with transparency.
Fixed immortal's texture.

I found 10 of these guys on another site and started the porting process. I am just waiting until I finish what I have left before releasing them into a pack for SFM.

I don't know MMD nor how to make models for MMD, my tool exports models to .obj and textures to .bmp, you then should import those in whatever application to rig it for MMD.

Ill figure it out eventually... I just need to find a program that converts .obj and .bmp to .pmd~ o3o

I figured out how the JSRF files are and made a tool to extract the models and textures, you can download the tool and see more stuff on the blog [link]

Oh haha, didn't notice I though it was a hat or something when it made the render, the thing is some parts like scarfs, chains or hair are not in the right place when you extract the model because they're placed by the game when the model is loaded with the animation.

Nah can't unlock DJK, he just doesn't have animations nor the settings to "be playable".

The Immortals are my favorite. I thought about cosplaying one, but I'd need good references and what would be better that picture from the game itself? Especially the skates are gonna be tricky ...

It's enough for me to use it as reference for the over all look. But there is still a small failure with the texture: the ankh which the immortals are wearing around their neck and the bandage part which comes out of their head bandage have switched textures ^^"

I want to cosplay mid next year on the "Leibziger Buchmesse" here in germany. I met some other JSRF cosplayers here on dA, which I'm hopefully gonna meet there too! I just have to finally make it this time! >.<
I once wanted to cosplay Clutch and had already the whole outfit together, but my girlfriend, my parents and the hairdresser didn't want me to color my entire hair red! xD
