What kind of a question is that, you may ask. Of course you should, you may say.

But the thing is this. I care about what happens in the world. I care about the suffering of people and animals, about injustices, about climate change... about everything that gives even one person a horrible experience.

And I want to do what I can.

Creating comics that get you excited is obviously not the most meaningful thing I can do with my time. I find some consolation and reassurance in the fact that 1. I do have some time for volunteer work on the side, and 2. I can give away the money that I earn and don't need.

But other than that, now and then I doubt. I don't know if I could give it up even if I wanted to. But still.

I'd love to hear from you to what extent my work has been meaningful, helpful, insightful, comforting... for you, apart from just entertaining or exciting. Is there any value in it beyond that?
