Description I took this long before I got my first tripod (which has now been destroyed.) I set the camera flat on the ground and did a 15 second exposure as cars drove by. The wet ground also gives it a neat texture.

I just love this, you just worked with what you had!

a family gave me their 30 year old tripod when I got my first DSLR camera, I set up my camera on it one day and walked away from it for a quick second. The next thing I knew the tripod and camera fell into my wall, the camera was too heavy for my tripod, haha . I ended up breaking the lens that was attached to the camera...

how did your tripod get destroyed?

awesome photo~

A friend stepped on it in photography class... lol. Fortunately the tripod didn't cost that much (only $40 from best buy.) I might buy another one in the future but my major concerns right now are getting my business going.

Well I want to get into photojournalism but in order to get the cash flowing in I think I'll start doing senior portraits and weddings. I've worked out a deal with a friend from church that I'll do his portraits for free if he can get me about three or four clients. As far as the tripod goes I honestly wasn't worried about it enough to make her pay up, after all it was my fault I left it on the floor.

oh, I see. wow, good luck with your photojournalism! I am sure you'll do awesome, a friend of mine wants to go into that too.
