No doubt the little 'guy' regards us much as we might regard a mile-wide UFO hovering to observe us.

I can't really blame them. We're so big, and probably really ugly to them... if not, just really weird.

Observing their behaviors make me laugh! Especially during mating, their curiously level raises to the highest. Weird but funny behaviors, and a lot of patient too.

Okay. It's very CUTE! but at the same time it's really scaring me. -_-
If it was crawling me in my house, I would kind of shove it outside safely.
But if it never bites humans, then I WILL TAKE CARE OF IT FOREVER!

That one had a body length of roughly 4-5 mm It could easily dance on the fingernail of your pinky (just a size comparison).

If you are a springtail or fruit fly or something similar tiny, then yes. They can't bite humans. Even if they tried to, they wouldn't get through your skin.

jsz In reply to NeeNei [2010-06-12 22:02:35 +0000 UTC]
No, they never tried to bite me. Sometimes they jump onto my hand, but they quickly jump off again when i move. Yes, they're pretty fast. And yes, they are poisonous, but no harm to humans at all.
