Oops, forgot to say, I hate fruit flies, but I like this picture.

I hate fruit flies, well I grew up in Hong Kong... I still hate fruit flies, my window faces the back garden where everyone dump their garbage. I hate it when the bastards fly through my window and buzz around all day. I hated it more when the fruit flies said morning to me on my breakfast in Hong Kong.
I used to captured fruit flies for free, but they came in unlimited supplies so my effort was futile... I captured one once in a glass, I filled the glass with water. The fruit fly became a submarine, way more dangerous than hovercraft I tell you. It just stood upside down against the bottom of the glass (I held the glass upside down and used physics and a piece of paper to keep the water in), and it survived something like 5 minutes underwater.
I hate fruit flies.

pretty freaky. would be even better if the focus extended to the wings so that their detail could be seen as well, imo
