photoshop cs32 hours
i'm not too good coloring grass and foliage and what not. basically i relied on textured brushes. plus lighting is crap. :tear:

It looks watercolored! I don't know if you've seen them, but there are actually trees that look like this. . .I'm trying to remember the name. Basket trees, I think. No! Carnival trees. Google that, and you'll see some really cool trunks.

Yo, Jtgraffix-sempai, which is better and stable...Photoshop CS2 or CS3...? ooo...and how did you get the leaves on the tree look soft...using the blur tool...or adjusting the brush...?

you know...i have YET to find a major difference between cs2 and cs3. as long as they do the job...then i don't really care...haha! for the leaves...i use a little bit of brush adjustments on a textured brush. find a brush that's very rough like an actually paintbrush dab and work with the opacity and colors.

before you begin your digi-painting process, do you outline your sketch first or do you paint directly on them...and if you do paint directly on them...which layer order do you specify and if any, blending options like mutliply, color burn...etc..?

if i'm painting lineart then i use a separate layer for my colors. you can choose to set multiply on either the lineart or the painted layer. but i use a LOT of layers it's ridiculous...so i mix it up between 'em.

No I didn't mean his coloring is bad. On his comment he thinks he didn't do good job, but I think he did great job coloring. It just how he pulls off the coloring looks like he did it in water colors.
