Four more quicksand studies, featuring Robyn.
-Tar: A lot of people have been drawing tar lately, and I wanted in. I had fun giving it the oily iridescence, but it was difficult getting both the liquid surface and sandier areas to look right next to each other.
-MudBleck: This was tough. The over-exaggerated swirls of colour difference between the mud and oobleck is easy enough with the finger-blur tool, but goodness, the way that it sort of stretches and tears is not.
-Caramel: I think this one came out pretty good without a lot of effort. All caramel stock photos come in two ways, A: Caramel being poured into folds, or B: A jar of caramel with a perfectly flat surface save for the handle of a spoon sticking out.
-Chocolate Pudding: Not how I usually draw it. Either way, no confused expression for this one. Robyn can only be delighted in chocolate.

[edit]P.S. Unlike wood tar which can be found in foods, coal and petroleum tar contain high concentrations of benzene, making them toxic and carcinogenic. The bubbles are of methane; highly flammable. Consistency can be obscenely viscous, making it extremely difficult to get out of. In short, tar makes for good sinking fantasy and art, but is not safe enough for real fun.[/edit]
Caramel is probably awful to clean up, proceed with caution and a hair cap.
