An old picture I made some 3 to 4 years ago. There is a painted version but that was a gift to someone willing to trade a painting of him for the entire CD set of FFXII which I was overjoyed to have. Excuse it being fuzzy and dark, I used very rough multipurpose paper.This is Maduin (or Madeen in FFIX). In his model form for being summoned in FFVI. I made this because he is one of my favorite summons in the FF series with one of my favorite back-stories, being the father of the main character of FFVI (Sorry if I spoiled anything for anyone). I've only seen two good drawings of him and made this as my own in the exact way I see him when he is summoned. I know his face looks a little too happy being a battle pose but I thought that snce he was being summoned before his own daughter and too weak to visit her himself that he would be overjoyed to see and help her when summoned. Oddly his battle form depicts him dark tanned with purple hair, whereas his sprite form is partially tanned with silvery blue hair. I hope to see an excellent drawn version of FIX version someday. He appears in several others, but VI and IX were the ones with him having back stories.

Yeah, he would have been a perfect light summon since they really didn't have one. He's also my favorite summon when it comes to relationship ideas haha.

Hahaha, very much so. Titan and Ifrit may have the muscles but Maduin has the good looks and cuddliness of moogles to back him up.

No, I haven't. I don't get out of my house much. When I moved, all my gamer friends were left back up in Montana. I have only my two roommates here. One is only on the computer while the other likes to play shooter games.

It never hurts to try, taking artwork to shows is something that shows people room for or how to improve. Although my work is so much different from others that I never really learned much except at one show.

I can try. I'm getting killed by one of my art trades I'm working on of Amaterasu and Oki. I'm not very good at lining. I like to sketch and color more.

Agreed. I prefer to color with colored pencils, but sadly.....mine got left in montana 3 months ago. I need to get a lining pen and new CPs soon so things will go much easier and faster.

I know of Shiva! It was one of my favorite summons in the final fantasy series. I've only played FF7 and watched some of 4 and 8 played. I grew up on spyro and mario games as a kid because my parents didn't like fighting games.

My first Final Fantasy was 9, a gift from my dad before he passed. I got into the series from that and have played pretty much all of them. Every numbered one for sure and most of the spin-offs.

FF9 will always be my favorite, even after all these years. Zelda, that I love too. But that love is kept at a distance because when you don't play something for years on end, the next time you play it will be nostalgic and fantastic.

This is a very good drawing of a subject that is sadly so rare.
Maduin is one of my favorites Eidolons (guess he's number two behind Alexander) and also one of the most important story-wise for two FF games... I'm always surprised to notice that there aren't many artworks of him...
