Well... It´s the second sunday of advent , and it´s time for me to start my christmas shopping... I mean there won´t be an owl or something I could send out to get me the presents for my family...So I hope I find the time to enter one of those shopping centers which are so wonderful decorated- and crowded.
Anyway, I wish I could see Severus and Vader while doing Christmas-shopping... because they would totally hate it. Especially Snape...
But imagine those two grumpy black dudes in a crowd of happy and busy people...
random person: "Oh, sorry I didn´t see you standing there, with that dark curtain you´re wearing! Ha, good one! Merry Christ- "
Snape: " Well, that´s not a curtain. It´s a cloak. And merry F*CK OFF BEFORE I AVADA KEDAVRA YOU... oups. hm. my fault... Sorry...hehe..."
Vader: "We can´t leave him here on the floor."
Snape: "Oh yes we can. Let´s move on."

Sevvie doesn't AK random people, though. He killed only one person in his entire career, and he absolutely did not want to do that--despite the fact that the nasty bearded bastard did everything he could to provoke Sev. Now if you'd described Vader killing a random person who insulted his cape, I'd believe it.

Jeez, don't take MY comments so seriously! I actually considered adding a P.S. reminding you not to take it as a criticism, but I thought, "No, surely she knows me by now." Your drawings are full of ideas, and I love discussing ideas. Discussing something often involves disagreeing, but it's not a put-down, and is never meant personally. It's just a discussion. I think part of the issue with us is that you're a film fan and I'm a book fan, and a lot of the impressions one gets of Severus from the films do not match what he actually does in the books. When I say, "This is what Severus was like in the books," it's a point of information, not a put-down.
In the Potter books, killing people is a very, very big deal morally. Murder is the way Voldemort tears his soul to make his Horcruxes. It is therefore important for one's view of Severus as a moral character that he does not kill people casually, and objects strongly to being forced to kill Dumbledore. One of the things that makes Severus my favorite character is that he's the only one in the books with a positive moral arc. He's not pleasant, but he's got serious moral principles.
What would Sev do instead? Sneer, make a cutting remark regarding dunderheads, and walk away. Unlike the Marauders, the Weasleys, and Gryffindors in general, who physically attack people, Sev's attacks are almost entirely verbal. He talks mean, but doesn't actually harm anyone.
Sev's expression is excellent. I notice he's not looking at you, just glaring into the distance. How did he get candyfloss on his nose, anyway? It's not sticky. Did Dobby stick it there, under orders from the Potter brat? I wouldn't put it past him, though it's more like something the Twins would do.

oh, thank you very much for that comment! I´m sorry when i get emotional very quick, it´s just the thing that everything i do in my rare free times, is working on these pictures with my favorite characters... that means a lot to me.
and yes, I like the movies, but i don´t prefer them. the books are with so many more details, they let you imagine this wonderful world on your own. so much great ideas, like hermione´s work for the rights of the houseelves, never appear in the movies.
I think i´m just a very HUGE fan of Alan Rickman. And partly of the other brilliant actors, like maggie smith. they put so much love in their version of the characters!
Hmm... and the candy floss...maybe it was potter, maybe a little fangirl who wanted to get an excuse for touching the guy she admires....
