i love the hot, intense shades of red-orange and blue-purple, with lighter shades of pink and blue and green and yellow orange in between. very eye-catching

Happiness, joy and a little pain? Perhaps not pain, but angst. Maybe. Quite a number of emotional combinations would work, but the way they swirl--yes, that's how they feel.

It's very interesting how anyone perceives colours, combinations of forms and colours giving them lots of different interpretation.

Yes, I'm not sure if it's intuition, a combination of the "metaphors" we carry or what--barring things like synethesia.
