Actually, her transformation into being a vampire DID bring back her plasma bolt 'fireworks' power from being dormant after the 'House of M' phenomenon. And on top of her return of her powers, she has vampire strength, speed, and agility. She is has more pep with the return of her powers, only except her attitude is bitchy and she has a BIG thurst for blood!

Well, it does show in one or more pannel scene her lighting upher plasma bolt into a controlled fire ball-like torch in her hand. It is like her vampirism allows her to do even more things with her powers than she could as a living mortal. But, you are right, it also shows in the second book as well.

Darn! I know I have the first issue, but I misplaced it in my room. Sorry. However, the scene of Jubilee using her power is in one of the middle pages of the first issue during the dialogue between Jubilee and the vampiresses who were ntroducing themselves. Look at Jubilee's hands! They are glowing! Right there, she is testing her powers!

Okay! Finally! I found it! The first issue!

Half way into the story and the bookissue itself where the scene now takes place in a hotel bar inside the city of San Francisco, Jubilee is sulking alone while nursing a drink and she daydreams while she plays with her powers glowing and sparkling from her hands pink. See?
