Description A weather docklet that uses the weather.com XML weather feed. This is a mod of the sample docklet that comes with OD 0.99. You should just unzip this DLL over the old one in docklets/weather. Maybe you should back up your old one first, but its unlikely to ever work again.

**UPDATE** You can set Farenheit or Celsius, add the degree symbol and lookup the zip code for a non-U.S. location using city, country e.g.: paris, france

**UPDATE 2** Fixed a bug whereby it sometimes displayed the wrong image.

I love the Weather Docklet, but it is showing the wrong weather for my location. It shows 96 degrees when it is actually 46 degrees and the flyouts are incorrect. My location is correct - Whitesboro, Texas - Grayson County - 76273. No matter how I put in my location Weather Dock still says 96 degrees.

Please Help....

I would use it if it had a 5 day forecast. What the weather is "today" is obvious enough.

whenever i try to add this docklet to rocketdock i get a runtime error window :
Rocketdock.exe
abnormal program termination
it closes rocketdock as well if i let it. but if i drop the docklet from the dock, than the runtime error windows disappears.
it creates an xml file in the temporary internet files folder. now it looks like this :

Invalid Partner Code.

Can anyone please tell me where I can download the whole docklet (images etc.)? Or how to do it myself.

Thanks,

Aunex

You gotta love DA. Files just 'disappear'. Re-uploaded.

Awesome, weather finally works in ObjectDock. The other docklet wasn't able to get any data, and thus was useless.

It was easy to install ( copied the .dll over the old one while ObjectDock was running ) and looks great. I like the added options of showing "degrees F/C" and non US locations too. Perhaps you should change the configuration options to read "Celsius / Fahrenheit" instead of " Metric Units" and "Short / Long Display" instead of "Show Symbol", as I had to test them to make sure I knew what they did.

Anyhow, thanks for giving me the ability to see weather on my ObjectDock once again.

Thanks!
The one that came with ObjectDock would not display any details on the bar. If I turned off the dock and replaced the DLL with yours, ObjectDock would not restart - it would generate an error. But then I tried replacing the DLL while ObjectDock was running and re-added the docklet. Then it worked, and restarted, just fine.

This looks great. Thanks for sharing. I'm using the calendar as well.
