To make the colouring look cleaner, take the lineart, open it in GIMP, Duplicate the background/lineart layer, set the top layer to multiply, create a new layer, place it under the multiply layer and colour on the new layer, you can be a little bit more messy near the lines and have the multiply layer cover it up. Great for colouring.
