Here we are, the first Alcatraz update! Since it is the first, I have a lot to update you guys on! ;D

    Let's start with voice actors! Since the last episode, we have gained two new Voices for the series! We have the lovely Adoxographist as the new character Sin! Not going to say too much on this subject, but she is a very talented person, and I'm honored to have her on the project. Next, we lost Kayla's previous voice actor, but were blessed with an amazing replacement! Death By Cosmic! You can barely tell the difference, and personally, I think her version of Kayla does fit the character a lot better

    Next, as you can see a few other things have changed with the style of Alcatraz. I’m attempting to create an actual cartoony style that should no longer change from episode to episode! It’s easy to animate, easy to remember, and still matches the style of the series! There will also be gradients over the animations now, to add more depth in a scene, and even a little more color too. However, the gradients in flash are a touch iffy, and can be pretty noticeable. So, when the episode is posted, I’d love it if you guys gave me some feedback on how the gradients look! If they are too pixilated, then I will remove them for the interest of smooth and enjoyable color.

    Finally, the progress of the episode itself! The editing is… very much lacking XD I have been very busy, so I haven’t touched that portion of the episode too much. However, the animation is nearly done! I have 3-4 more 30 second scenes to animate/finish animating. When those are done, I’ll only have to edit and then Episode 5 will be up! I am attempting to finish all this stuff this month, but you never know. If I can’t manage to do that, which is very likely btw, it will be done by August at the VERY LATEST.

    On that subject, I should address the stuff in my life that may or may not affect Alcatraz. My brother’s wedding is coming up, along with vacation! I hope to finish the episode before this happens, but because of uncontrollable things, I may not be able to OTL I am going to college this year, which also brings up something that I really am not ready to decide on until this episode is finished. When that happens, my next update will include what’s been going down, and what the future of Alcatraz holds. Either way, don’t worry! Alcatraz will not be canceled; I’m determined to finish this project no matter how long it takes! Just keep your eyes open for that update though
