Description
Queen Uru is dead. Cub Mufasa, Sarabi and Taka had been out playing the whole day, not knowing that back home, the princes' mother was dying. They return to Pride Rock, their lives changed forever._____________
I've always found the fandom's interpretation of the relationship between Uru and Taka interesting. Taka is always depicted to be very close to Uru. Why is that? Was it actually stated somewhere? It's interesting

Because Ahadi is seen as favoring Mufasa, so I'd imagine that Uru would spend time with him as to not make him feel unwanted. Just my theory

I don't know why fans would think Taka had a close relationship with Uru. But, to be honest, I would like to think that as well. Perhaps it's fans wanting to characterize Taka/Scar more than just plain evil like he is in the movie, or at least give him one positive relationship.

As somebody said before, it makes sense that Taka would've been closer with his mother as Ahadi and Mufasa were most likely always out and around together for Mufasa's training. So Uru is the one that poor distressed Taka had to confide in.

he was origonally a rouge he has bad temper and she challenged his parenting method.some people do get like that my ex would beat me if i even spoke to his freind's

i had a dad who would verbal abuse my me and my mom he never hit us but he did throw glass cups at the wall when he got really mad
i read that it was the opposite uru was the rouge

It is stated in Tale of Two Brothers that Uru told Taka(Scar) never to give up hope that he might be king one day, so many fans believe she and Taka were very close. Personally, I've got a version where she's just as power hungry as Scar.

I think because his dad is all ways seen as a bit of a tyrent who favours Mufasa and doesn't quite know what to do with Takas individualness.

Yes I think so in all the comics ive read Taka almost all ways seems like the forgoten sibling. I reckon Ahadi must have spent a lot more time with Mufasa training him to be King and Taka just got left behind so he probably spent much of it between the Hyenas and Uru.
I think probably jelousy brought him closer to his mother and since Mufasa was spending so much time with Ahadi, Uru probably spoiled Taka a bit.
