"They go to sleep in the morning, Simba. The falling stars tell us that a current king needs help, and a past king is going to help. The clusters contain Lions of one region, and places without stars are just simply making room for the ones who will be up there soon."
"Oh... neat!" Lol

If stars are the kings of the past, what are black holes (scientifically, dead stars) in the outer space then, according to the Pride Lands mythology? X] Maybe evil rulers like Scar? XDDD ;D
Astronomy is one of my favourite sciences, though :3 Besides mineralogy, biology and a bit more X)

Kings of the Past of the Past maybe
or as you say, evil rulers like Scar. Though really, they still have a huge influence in outer space hahahah ie. can still suck things into their dark and evil domain
I have an interest in astronomy too! But i never really perused it in great detail. The closest I got to anything space-related was when I got to work on a project with one of ESA's satelite. That was kickass. Mineralogy and biology, interesting! Are you in university?

ItΒ΄d probably be interesting to make a study on how is every "celestial body" seen or represented in the Pride Lands mythology X) Meteors, asteroids, comets,... or even the moon herself! Probably these lionsΒ΄ view on outer space is inspired by those of African tribes? ^^
I like all those sciences, but basically for mere curiosity too I know something about them all, but no way am I an expert in any of those fields X) Black holes, for instance, has always been what I found most gripping about astronomy, and I bet that not even nowadays is everything known about them yet.
In dealing with biology, ever since I was just a little child, I felt fascinated about spiders X) I learned almost a whole world after reading many books and watching documentaries :3 As a matter of fact, when I was young warth- eeeer... when I was at primary school, I was the one who gave the lesson on spiders to my (old and beloved) classmates! XDD But there are many other things about biology that I like; some also related with genetics, and others... well, I lack a bit courage to talk about them ^^ Ahem! X)
To finish with, right now IΒ΄m only two subjects ahead to leave university *buffs* (Finally. Thanks God... ) I shouldΒ΄ve left about three years ago, but believe it or not, I wasted all that time trying to pass a damned important subject (while I "sailed through" the exams in the other subjects) of which IΒ΄m afraid I donΒ΄t want to talk anymore... XP Now IΒ΄m getting ready to get some job, and IΒ΄ve got at least two in mind to chose among. But, as usual, one thing is where you want to go and another where you finally go in the end... :/ WeΒ΄ll see.

Ah interesting. I never really thought about lions and astrology in that sense. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised that Rafiki would spend time charting stars, but yeah, that's interesting. The views of space from the perspective of the lions..

Spiders hahahah. I bet there were alot of kids in awe of you back then I used to have a phobia for spiders. Like, a serious phobia. But I've had some traumatic experiences with them, more than a few instances, and what do you know. When people say you gotta face your fears to overcome them, I've never believed it more than now. But now you got me wondering what other sort of subjects that spark your interest xDD
Oh, good luck with your two remaining subjects. I actually have one more exam to go before I graduate (assuming I pass everything). And I hope you chose the right path in your crossroad. 'Right' being a very relative word. But I believe that in the end, it'll all work out. When you close a door, another opens. I bet you're spending alot of your brain juice on the decision at the moment.

Hello again, dear Juffs X)
Haha! So Darth Mufasa Vader saying that everything the light touches is their kingdom, eh? X3 It seems to me a "rather vast" area XD How to take care of it all? 8Β·
In dealing with spiders, when I was a little boy at primary school, actually almost everybody then knew me for that interest of mine, so that was not such a shock for them X) Furthermore, I spent part of my spare time then hunting certain black spider that weaves silk tunnels up the walls in fissures and such. A "risky" spider with a rather cantankerous behaviour, to handle with great care indeed.
The worst experiences I had with spiders were not because they bit me (over the years I learned how to handle them) but rather because it was them who got the worst part of our encounter... Say, accidentally I once crushed one but still she moved with her abdomen blown up. Yuks! XP On another occasion I saw one burning alive in the fireplace of our cottage (she was hidden among the lugs I was carrying to the fire, unbeknownst to me...) Poor little ones them all! DX
And thanks for wishing me luck on these two remaining subjects ^^ Same to you!! IΒ΄m starting to feel like a crappy oldie at primary school... XP Demoralizing, indeed. And so tired and bored... I hope that some door opens to me soon... because I wouldnΒ΄t like to be caught tight between two closed doors! XD ;D

My friend and I did a skit like this. When Simba says "You said you'd always be there for me" I was all like: Mufasa comes out of the clouds and goes like "Whoa whoa whoa, I never said that, when you asked I said look at the stars." He never really did say that lol

Well that's what you get for only allowing the great kings into the sky. Not that many great kings, so you get a very dark sky up there. Silly monarchs, I didn't vote for you to get in the sky anyways. The common folk want a chance to be in the sky too. Then you'd have a brighter sky! Yay.
