Ah yes, Sally is one of my favorite characters as well. She is very complex and quite the free-spirit and she follows her instincts, so I admire that.

Thank you for your kind words and your insight, I have always been interested in Sally as a character. She is very admirable in her intuitiveness, as you mentioned, yet she always seems on the verge of falling apart or ripping at the seems. I love how she has to sew herself back up all the time.

I love that too! She does indeed seem as if she's always falling apart. She is a rag doll, and taking sight of her she is indeed a very fragile being. Like if you shake her hand her whole arm would become detached or something! It's quite the image. I can imagine that it would be somewhat of a nuisance when your limbs can get so easily amputated but it just adds all the more to her character that she tears apart like that but can then sew herself back together in that aspect.
I'm so happy to give you my insight. Artists deserve the inner perspectives of their admirers I believe to make them feel that their art is worth it! And for you to say such nice things, thank you! It feels nice that people can acknowledge my words and view on something as this! I feel warmed myself at your kindness.
To me it makes it inspirational that an artist like yourself can say such things to their fans. It makes me feel like when I do finally submit some of my own art here I can share my views with other viewers willing to share and it would make it worthwhile for me too.

Yes, Tim Burton does a very good job of designing characters. He is such an inspiration! Even though his style is much more crazy and loose than mine. But I like it when the same character or idea can be depicted in many different ways. That is what is so much fun about fan art! It is like seeing how different artist interpret that same thing. Like the way different people draw Sally -- I love that fragility and strangeness of her character, with her limbs as you mentioned. And how handy yet annoying it would be to sew yourself up all the time.
