Description
gandalf the grey in the hobbit: an unexpected jounrey.calling the eagles. I always loved this shot and wanted to draw it
colored with Krita.
made this in around 1 hour and 45 minutes

Lovely picture, and I like the title when taken literally, but in English "the call of nature" is also poetic slang for "feeling the need to urinate," and "answering the call of nature" is doing so.

Yeah, I figured you might want to know.
Slang gets us all eventually; even something that was totally innocent when we wrote it may become filthy later.
Me? Well, the word "taint" still means "contamination," but its new additional meaning "perineum" made one scene I wrote fifteen years ago completely ridiculous now.
