people always say cartoons and anime is childish and that people who watch them should grow up, but shows like avatar and a lot of animes can be more thoughtfull and mature than a lot of regular shows. I'm watching kara no kyoukai now for example and just like the fate series (also by ufotable) it's very mature and introduces new philosophies and ideologies

I unfortunately don't know detective conan, is it an anime? and I highly recommend kara no kyoukai if you want a more mature anime that dives into a more thoughtful story that you as a viewer need to give your full consentration. it is confusing at the beginning as it's not in chronological order, but when the story reveals itself and you have solved certain things on your own it is a very rewarding series. but beware, it is very graphic on blood and is mainly a murder mystery. the animation and music id superb as it is made by ufotable
another more mature anime I recommend is fate/zero and after that fate/stay night unlimited blade works from 2015
