Paint Shop Pro-program is the one I used when doing this. It's kinda like the cheap version of Photoshop. Nowdays I use both and learning to use Painter-program.

Sugoi! Great use of both programs. How exactly did you attempt to make a Pencil/photoshop look (well maybe you did this by accident but it looks really really good)? Its like painting water colors like oils (thats what I do!).
Come to my check out my He-man characters and Ranma 2 Sorry I am trying to fight the sandman now.

I've tried learning some of the basic tricks from Renaissance-painters, that I want to use with a digital brush. Always liked to do things in painterly-way, because it gives me the feeling of actually doing something for the artwork when I scribble areas with a brush and not just simply selecting an area and filling it with a gradient on a push of a button.

You know all the time I've checked out art museums I never seemed to adapted to any fine art style? (Perhaps because i like animation 2 darn much!!). I love Savado D, and Georga O K, but only seemed to adapted to Jackson Poluck by accident. I painted 3 and didn't even know who this guy was!!

Cha you know what, it just seems like you just need to know some other form of art just to do Photoshop these days. I thought people just know photoshop. As a former Fine artist, I've painted 7 acrilics, 5 oils , 3 mixed, 3-5 c pencils 4 waterc now adays 5 photoshops. However I am not sure I mastered anything but abscract. Blending techn need work but I could blend watercolors like oils!!
How to apply that to your work is the thing. So far, perhaps my watercolor and oils (and just yesterday my pencil work) techniques showed up in my work.
Its amazing what you come up with.

Ahhh, good oldschool He-Man done in current style. I have a face portrait of He-Man, too. I gotta post my He-Man work! (Still not nearly as good as this, but what the hell!)

You really should. I admire your style and think that you could do The Most Powerful Man in the Universe some justice.
