Pencil/Inks byColours by
Ownership of all characters
This was a great drawing made by Daniel Campos of Jason Martin's comic "Super Real", and since Jason is busy at the moment, I threw my colours on it for fun.
As the costumes on the characters are simplistic and lowkey, I left the red logos as pure colours in this, because I wanted them to really pop out.

Thanks.
And what are you talking about? I already said I'm between your suspicions and hopes...that atleast should tell you I'm up to no good in the best possible way.
This was much fun to do, mostly as again I tried slightly altering my work-habit with the highlights and shadows, because I didn't simply want to make this cel-shaded.
Though even still to this day, I haven't grasped the skin-tones on your characters, and since I hate colouring a group of characters with everybody having the same skin, it gave once again a new challenge to this.

LOL
Yeah, I see your email now... Hotmail junk filtered it... thanks!
Glad you had fun!
And what's wrong with my skin tones?!?

Well when I first looked at the skin-tones of your characters for reference in that pin-up contest, I first looked at it like you had two characters with pale skin and three with tans. Then I looked at your variant artists works and the skintones didn't match with characters like Holly, which confused me even more.
Nowdays I see it more clearly, that Shana has more saturation on her skin, and Mike is tad darker in tone to Holly.
Next thing you'll know, I'll start freaking out what blonde-colour Kit really is, cause one can always go atleast two-three ways in handling that. Like in this piece, I went for murky yellow, instead of strong warm yellow-tones like I usually would.

Yeah, I like my colors vibrant, but not not too loud, so the skin is mostly dark, darker, and darkest! ha ha
and the hair colors are softer, with some shine of course...
er
crazy convo
good to see you take your coloring so seriously!
I likes it when things match up.

Just don't make the skins too dark, or it'll muddy up after CMYK-transfer in final print.
And yeah I try to follow colour-schemes etc. by the book when it comes to fan-art. Skin-tones personally is just a pet peeve, because I simply hate it when there like a picture with two males and two females, and everybody is sporting the exact same skin. People should have some personality, and skin is a good place to start. That's why I always take note of Shana, as she pops out from the crow really well.

Man, this is awesome. There's pretty much nothing else to say, your colors really, REALLY bring this piece to life. Great job!

Appreciate your opinion.
Your strong lines were infact quite easy to work with, and I just love the way you draw babes.

Thanks bro.
I saw the pencils at Daniel's gallery too, and the inking defines the lines really well.

Great colours Jukka. Stalk's sketch is great too. They both look as good as any comic artist I've seen.
Though when I was checking the black & white first for some reason I thought girl # 5 would be either a redhead or blonde. I guess I got that impression from the freckles and cute face.

Sorry, she's a bruenette, or rather she has black hair...
Stalk added the freckles though, so it's his fault (nice touch though!)

I agree. She suits the freckles. She still looks good as a brunette though.

Though you should definitely have an guest-appearance of a redheaded babe there as well.....
Her outfit could have the number 0 and thus be very minimalistic, and some pig-tails, and, and....
....what? Me like redheads? Get outta here!

There is another participant, and they may be number 0, but alas, they will not have red hair, or pigtales...
This is top secret though, you must stay tuned to the comics and never again speak of it until it's revealed there!
You're hereby sworn to secrecy (oh drat, this is a public posting!)
