As a dedicated fan of the show, it's hard for me not to confess I'm having my heart melted each time I see a fanart related to my favorite cartoony genius scientist. Plus, the overall execution of the topic is quite fair and impressive.

I have to say, the angle you decided to conceive is pretty crazy. Not to say it's poorly made but it definitely quite confuses me, while at the same time adding a lot of value to the work. The expression on Dex's face is just great; you can see this youth feel accompanied with more mature, somewhat distanced impression, perfect for a figure that Dexter is.

While I'm not really fond of the technique you used here, I still think it's a job well done. The "practical" side of the painting is pretty effective; all the shadows, wrinkles, even the Elvis' bangs looks great, even though -- as I stated earlier -- I'm not a great fan of the technique. The extensive blurring doesn't feel very vibrant and subtracts a lot of charm this artwork could have had.

Overall, this is a pretty great painting and I love it. All the cons I've mentioned are purely biased and don't have to rightfully apply to the effort input.

ah, thank you for your critique. I will make sure to be more thoughtful when compose it. Was originally thought that would shows the 'cool' (act cool), 'smart' (like you know? hmm, hard to explain now lol...)
Also the 'technique', I still learn and explore to make it more better. Hopefully along the way soon or later I can improve this piece better
But yeah, thank you for taking time to actually type these many

Appreciate very much!
