Arnold Betrays Iggy is considered to be the worst Hey Arnold episode in the entire series.

While I can't argue that ABI is pretty bad, my vote for the worst episode of HA is definitely New Bully On The Block, which far outclasses ABI in that regard.

1) ABI took place during the course of the series when it was at it's high point and still at least putting out other, far better episodes. New Bully took place during the show's seasonal rot when it became a parody of itself, the Helga/Arnold/Lila love triangle was getting far too irritating (Thankfully, that shit ended with Timberly Loves Arnold when he finally got over Lila for good) and the show was getting less imaginative and original and more like a generic cartoon.

2) Wolfgang won at the end and there was even a worse, Wolfgang clone that won with him. The guy bullies children out of their field, forces them to play a sport they don't want to play, gives them black eyes and other injuries and this is the guy that's supposed to be portrayed as the hero and win throughout the episode? It's just sickening to watch. At least Arnold Betrays Iggy ended with Arnold realizing how much of a jerk Iggy was.

3) The bullies beat up Helga, a girl, and it wasn't even out of self defense. It was because she didn't want to play football. Nobody is more disgusted with men being violent towards women than me, especially when it's over something as idiotic as not wanting to play a sport.

So, yeah, as bad as Arnold Betrays Iggy was, New Bully on the Block was worse by a long shot.
