Just a smaller painting to raise my DA account back to life
I like the more paintery style that I used in this one. Might start developing it a more in my future paintings

Excellent. You paint skin tone well. I don't know what program you use, but if you are using photoshop, and you wish to paint with a more painterly style like you say, there is a very good (free) brushpack here [link] that I use. Sometimes I just use it for backgrounds, but mostly I paint everything with it.

Really great work, the hair could maybe use a little more refining near the back but overall this piece is amazing. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see more. By the way, I too love the paintery style you got going on here, marvelous.

Haha yeah, I used a photo of myself for the face and then added the flowers and the heart from my imagination, so that's probably why they look like they don't belong. I still need to practice adding details like that

Very well done, the shading and highlights are simple awesome. My only critique would be the heart on her face. It looks like it was just slapped on as an after thought.
