Thank you, I waited around until the last moment when the light was only hitting the lighthouse, it was the first time I have seen clouds in the right place at the right time here, I had been waiting for some time haha.

Well you really lucked out. Great image. By the way what is a reverse ND grad filter? I understand a ND grad but what makes it reverse?

It is exactly what it sounds like, a standard GND will have the least amount of 'neutral density' at the center of the filter and gradually becoming more dense towards the top, a reverse will have the most 'neutral density'at the center and gradually become less dense towards the top of the filter (fantastic for sunrise/sunset photographs were the brightest area in the shot is at the horizon) they are probably my most used landscape filters, but I do live near the water haha. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

o very cool! so are you using a Filter Holder like the Cokin or Lee system? I bought one of those way back in the day and never got any use out of it. felt too cumbersome to use in the field.

occasionally, the Cokin P size system, it truly depends on what situation it is being used in. If it is not an extreme fleeting moment, then the system is invaluable. To be able to dial everything in perfectly resulting in a true work of art. Otherwise there will be vignetting from the system on extreme wide-angle lenses, so zooming in is necessary. Handheld does work great if you need those extreme MM of wide-angle working space of if you are in a rush, just be careful not to cause movement in the camera and to protect the filter from the front threads of the lens. singh ray is the company to get the reverse GND from, they also make fantastic standard GND's. I hope this was a little bit helpful!
