Description
Antarctica Archives - Site 43-2: The ColonnadeA cavernous lattice network of pillars and beams buried under the [REDACTED]. Its location suggests that the structure could be possibly millions of years old. It is unknown if these structures are standalone, or a ruined superstructure of a much more complete building, due to its resemblance to modern building frameworks. Navigating the structure proved disorienting due to the impressive symmetry of the homogeneous structure. At least 3 members of the 7 man exploration team suffered from varying degrees of Symmetrophobia where they weren't susceptible to such a phobia before. One of the men who were most severely afflicted, reported having momentary episodes of hallucination, hearing strange sounds and the feeling of being followed or watched as they went deeper into the structure. Further exploration is halted until better equipment is available.
Personal work.

The ice, snow and feeling this conveys is quite close to how it really is there. Nice work.

I like the little stories/journal entries you write for the paintings. Kind of reminds me of reading Dinotopia in middle school, except less middle-school-like.

You should use your work as concepts in the videogame/film industry. I would love to play a Survival Horror game based in this image.

Beautiful, sinister artwork. Is the story a reference to Lovecraft's "At the Mountains of Madness"?
