Description
...until the world cease to turn, until the stars burn out, until the galaxies fade, we will be here, always waiting for all eternity. At the end of all things, we will meet again to welcome you home. But for now, you must go back, you do not belong here... not yet...___________________
When was the last time I did space art? I thought it was time to contribute something to the space art scene but this time with a little twist merging brush work, matte painting.
This was inspired after listening to the Surface of The Sun, a soundtrack from the film Sunshine. If you haven't heard I suggest you go Youtube and listen to it. As for the art, well, I leave for you to interpret what's going on there.
All textures taken from CGTextures, NASA, and personal sources. The hand is mine as well.
(NOTE: You may not use my works for any purposes for whatever reasons without my consent. Trust me, I'll know if if anyone steals from my gallery because I'll get notified by those who follow or know me.)

This is damn cool!Ā
I used it in a short poem of mine because i felt like it connected. The poem was licensed under attribution and non-commercial licensing. I do not profit from your work other than the beauty it adds to the poem. I also linked your art as well as your profile page directly under the piece.Ā
If this is an issue please let me know and I'll remove your work.Ā
Thanks!Ā

Very cool. The story for it reminds me of Sagan's Contact, except with a dimensional spin!
