Here would be my two questions:
1) Can the Master Sword hurt Spawn?
2) Would Leia be able to draw any evil energy from Link?
If the answer to the first question is no, then Link loses in the long run. If the answer to the second question is yes, then it'll be tough fight regardless of the winner.

I think this would be anyone's fight really. Link has dealt with enemies both more strong and faster than him and was able to come out on top. Also Link can stop time for ten minutes and the Master Sword should be able to harm Spawn since it was created to destroy evil. Plus there would be evil energy to feed off of Link in the fight for Spawn, since Link is humble, kind, brave and of pure heart. While Spawn is well... Spawn! Even Goku and Superman would have trouble dealing with Spawn especially Superman since he has no defense against Magic or Magic based attacks. Plus the Hylian Shield, Mirror Shield, Nayru's Love and the Magic Armor (TP and/or WW), would really go far for Link in the fight. The only real issue for Link is Leia of the Seven House of K. But still it would be anyone's battle.

All Link would need to do is cut Spawn's head off but that's easier said then done. Even Goku and Superman would have a tough time against Spawn. If it wasn't for Link's Hylian Shield, Nayru's Love, and Magic Armor (TP and/or WW). Link might not be able to survive. This would be a close match especially since Leia has a mind of it's own.

I am surprised that nobody has made a hack for this yet. It couldn't be too hard to spice one character from an ISO to another and use and emulator... right?

I was thinking since the data is out on the internet, and the two games are so similar, that somebody might be able to find a way to put both of Spawn and Link in the same game.
