Makes me think of the Lonely Island song.Why the change from the default Minecraft icon, which is good in it's own right? The default icon only represents three parts of Minecraft, the creative elements, the mining elements, and, of course, blocks. And while the creeper does away with the creative, it brings in two things... SMP/SSP, and the culture and community, which are both huge parts of Minecraft. In addition, the creeper is a highly recognized part of Minecraft.

Haha, that's funny yet awful. I mostly play on servers where creepers are disabled (anti-griefing), so it always surprises me how much punch they pack in single player.

I play on Lord of the Craft, which is heavy on the role-playing elements... It's also WAY less complicated than Sovereign and the like. If you like PvP, though, try Battlecraft... I played on it for a while, but then I got tired of constant threat and distrust.
