from the book ''The Three Robbers'' from 1961 created by Tomi Ungerer.it's a story where bad people become good people. it's a really short story for chirldren.
i have seen the 1972 short film adaptation, and the 2007 movie adaptation of the book (the 2007 movie is also called trick or treaters).
in my opinion the 2007 movie is the best version of the story.
i also like that the 2007 is also a bit edgier.

in the 2007 movie they saved some orphans from a evil witch, then they bought a home for the orphans.
pretty much the same thing happens in the book only there is no evil witch or any other villain.
