This is a piece I did back in March of this year, since I have been dealing with many thing personal and haven't had much inspiration. So I thought to put this on DA. To give a little background on this drawing I did, I saw this girl in an issue of complex and decidedd to draw her. I've been working on this pen and ink style for a little bit of year, I'm still trying to capture the ability to freestyle with the technique of mine without reference. On a side note this was the first time i used this ill brush pen my man D-Pi gave me from Japan, this is the illest brush pen I have ever used. I'll be posting more of these to build up my work on DA.Julian

Thanks a lot. This was the begining of the current drawing style that I am using now. I think a lot of it is the tools i started to use and the quality of the paper I was drawing on. At the time i was using a specific Pilot Ballpoint pen and a Japanese brush pen that :d-pi: gave me on regular hp inkjet paper. I just wanted to draw this girl in the magazine I was reading and it was also my replacement for my lack of a drawing model.
