Codyrox has most definitely taken a step forward with her photography recently...her pictures have acquired a sense of emotion and maturity.
In keeping with her latest creations, this warm and evocative picture is brimming with the light and haze of the 'Golden Hour'...that period of daylight when the shadows are long and the Sunlight has a reddish tinge.
In this particular instance, the positioning of the Sun just above the head casts an almost angelic burst of bright light over her hair, creating a golden halo and plunging her features into a subtle and misty haze. The intense rays and the stream of Sun flares only serve to accentuate the mystical quality and the muted tones of the landscape beyond take on a hushed reverence for the 'angel' that walks amongst them.
I particularly love Codyrox's unobtrusive way of adding that extra dimension by introducing a typed message into the composition...it states her intentions and it reminds us of the pleasure and the memories that a picture can bring to our lives.
It's a truly beautiful piece and one that I hope she will look back upon with pride and happiness.
