this should be totally easy to do, because I adapted the edit in gimp from a tutorial about how to edit like this in photoshop

gimp, it's like a free version of photoshop, except it's not even a fraction as good

gimp isn't bad, its whats available on linux but i know there's a pc version as well. hopefully you'll get your hands on photoshop, so much more you can do with it.
